How do I
Our embossers are very easy to use.

Pinch the design plate closed and slide into the opening with the 4 groves on square facing down. The front two grooves will fit into the "teeth" of the embossing machine with a slight "snap". Your hand embosser is now ready to be used.
Slide your paper item into the open design plate and squeeze the handle down using both hands.

Please note that the first few times using your embosser you will need to “break it in” and will then become easier to press hard to create a beautiful raised image. Varying amounts of pressure is required depending on the type of paper that you are using. We find it best to use both hands to press down firmly on the handle. Visibility will also vary depending on the color and type of paper you are using your embosser on.

Locating your voucher code:

After you place your order with Groupon, they provide you with a voucher code, which you then take to our website to redeem for a stamp.

To view your voucher code:
1. Sign into your Groupon account, click on your username at the top right hand corner, and then the drop down option "My Vouchers." Here you will see all the deals you have purchased.
2. If you purchased a voucher from us, it will show up there as "2712 Designs". Click on the blue button "View Voucher", which will give you a download of your voucher code and instructions on how to redeem under "How to Use."
Your Groupon voucher will begin with "G" and end with either "REC" , "SQ", "EMB" or "HND" depending on the item that you purchased.

Not sure where you should be? Check the end of your voucher code:
- If your voucher code ends in REC, your voucher is valid on a rectangle stamp design which can be found here: Rectangle Stamps
- If your voucher code ends in SQ, your voucher is valid on a square stamp stamp design which can be found here: Square Stamps

1. Make sure to click on the product link provided with your voucher to ensure you are taken to the correct product page associated with your voucher code (also see above).

2. Be sure that you copy and paste your voucher code from the purchaser and paste it into the coupon box in the checkout page. Voucher codes must be exact, missing or having just one character off will cause your voucher to be rejected.

3. Check that your voucher has not expired. Expired vouchers can be used as store credit for the paid value. Please contact for assistance if your voucher has expired.

How do I redeem my voucher? Choose the stamp design that you would like under Shop > Self-Inking Stamps or Self-Inking Square Stamps and click "Order." Fill in personalization lines. Double check all spelling & punctuation and then click "Add to Cart." Repeat process if you would like to order additional stamps or click on the cart icon on the top right corner to continue to checkout. Type or paste in voucher code in the white box and then click "Apply Coupon." Once voucher code had been deducted, click on "Proceed to Checkout." Enter your billing, shipping address and payment information to complete your order.
My Voucher code is not working? Please note that all of our voucher codes end with the following letters:
- REC - Codes ending in this will only work with rectangle stamps found here
- SQ - Codes ending in this will only work with square stamps found here
- EMB - Codes ending in this will only work with embossers found here
Will I get a digital proof of my stamp? No, unfortunately a digital proof is not included in this deal. When will my stamp ship? After you have placed your order and redeemed your voucher through the 2712 Designs website, your stamp order will ship within 10-14 business days. When your order has shipped an email confirmation including tracking number will be sent to the email used to place your order through 2712 Designs. You can track your order here ---> Track My Order I purchased more than one voucher, but it's only letting me enter one voucher? If you've purchased more than one voucher, you will need to make a separate order for each voucher code. I placed my stamp order, but would like to make a change? Once your order has been submitted we may be able to make a change as long as it has not been made. Please email us and we can assist you with this.

Shipping fees vary by product. You can always see how much the shipping fees will be by adding what you want to the cart. Then click on the shipping calculator and the shipping fees will appear.
We test all stamps functionality and quality before they are shipped, so I've included some helpful tips to ensure the best stamped image.

First, I suggest removing and re-inserting your design plate as, although rare, it may have shifted while in transit. Please view the link included with a quick video on how to properly remove and insert your design plate.

Here are our recommendations to get the best impression:
1. Use your stamp on a clean, dry, flat, hard surface such as a desk or non textured table. If you seem to be having difficulties with certain areas of your stamp, try stamping on a slightly cushioned surface such as an even stack of paper or a mouse pad.
2. Be sure that the item you are stamping is separate from the stack. Stamp on one layer at a time.
3. When using our stamps on enveloped, stamp before stuffing. When stamping on the flap, fold out and stamp on single surface.
4. Stamp in a clean, straight motion with even pressure. Keep the stamp body steady and do not rock as this may result in an uneven impression and unwanted ink marks.
6. While we do not recommend stamping on textured surfaces, it can be done but will most likely result in an uneven impression.
7. Our stamps are not suitable for use on glossy surfaces as the ink is water based and will not dry entirely. A speciality ink set can be purchased for glossy surfaced materials.
